Thankful Tuesday: School, Rexburg, Employment

Happy 10 months to my Maelie Cakes!

Today I am thankful for:

School--
As of this 6:15 morning, David is completely finished with his internship requirements. We are just waiting on some paperwork giving him the all clear and he is done with his undergrad studies! One year and one week ago exactly I was presenting my final project as an undergrad student. I cannot believe that we have finally made it! I remember 3 years ago thinking this day would never come, and just like that it's here! I am so grateful for a beautiful university that has given David and me the education we need to support and teach our family for the rest of eternity. School is important. I'm grateful to know that.

Rexburg--
Although it might seem like Rexburg and school are the same thing, to me, they have each taken a special place in my heart. For the first few years I was in Rexburg, it was just for school, but when I got married that all changed. I now didn't go home for my off-track semester, Rexburg was my home. Rexburg is the place where I have worked the most jobs, it is where so many of my favorite memories take place, where a lot of my favorite friendships were formed, and it is where my dream of being a mother came true.

Employment--
Since July 2006 there has been a total of about 6 months where I have been unemployed. David and I both have been so blessed in our lives to almost always have at least one job each (most of our married life we have both worked 2 sometimes 3 jobs at a time). With all that said...we are still not rich--dang it, but because of our jobs I was able to graduate college without any debt and David nearly made it out without any debt--with Maelie being born and me graduating (aka not being able to work on campus anymore) that changed, but we wouldn't have it any other way. :)

That is actually David in the top right picture!
