Big News!!!

Christmas is coming! And it's not only coming, but it's coming EARLY for the Dominguez Duo!!!!

I have known for awhile that we're going to have to purchase a new laptop in the near future. This week my laptop (yes Reagan, the brick) hit it's wall. It froze up one day and now doesn't even turn on. So today, we did it! The newest addition to the Dominguez family is on it's way. A brand new laptop computer! I haven't the slightest idea what it looks like or what cool things it comes with, but I do know we got a killer deal, thanks to David's job. :)

Luckily, we aren't computer-less because Carrie the Michelle has let David borrow her little notebook computer for his college years (or until she needs it back). :) Thanks Carrie!

I am super excited about this! Its been a long time coming, but it is finally here!

WOOHOO!!!

Whoops!

I typed this all up but for some reason it didn't post...here's the medical center post story...

So it was about 11pm Wednesday night. We had just finished watching one of the productions with live music and dancers, and David started having pretty intense stomach pain. We decided he had probably just eaten something bad and he should just try to get some rest and hope that it go away. Boy were we wrong. Well...wrong about the going away part. He was up the whole night with pain so bad he couldn't even stand up straight or lay down in any position without it hurting. I, being the perfect wife that I am (sarcasm), slept through it all. Horrible right? I woke up at about 7am to him doubled over moaning and groaning in pain. He hadn't been able to throw up at all (so it couldn't have been something he ate) and said he wasn't nauseated, just in pain. Since he's experienced an intestinal infection before (on his mission), and it didn't go away with rest, I decided we needed to go to the on-board medical center. We walked down there, just to find out they didn't open until 8am (it was 7:13am LAME). So we went back to our room, David drank some water and tried to lay down for 45 minutes and we were right back at the Medical Center door at 8am. Of course, right when we got there David said the pain wasn't as bad as it had been all night, but he was still having random shooting pains so we went ahead and had a Dr visit. The Dr spoke to us about his medical history, took a urine sample, listened to Davids insides with the stethoscope, pushed (really hard) on David's stomach, and everything came back normal. His diagnosis was "eating such rich food over and over has made your body react because it's not used to it". He prescribed some super strong stomach pain medication and an acid reflux tablet. So...a foreign Dr AND nurse (really hard to understand), $124 and some pain meds later we are back and David is feeling much better. :)

I meant to get a picture of the Medical Center, but I was a little flustered and totally spaced it. :( I'm just glad my man is healthy and back to his old self.

We Are Married!

And with marriage comes a honeymoon! We were blessed with the opportunity to go on a five day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!

It was everything we imagined and more! Originally we (that's the "royal we", meaning I) were a little nervous about possibly getting sea-sick, not having the proper documents to get on and off the ship, and being stranded in Mexico or something really ridiculous like that. BUT, we boarded the ship with no problem at all and quickly learned that we could handle the gentle rocking of the boat. Thank goodness!

We enjoyed people watching, karaoke nights (we did not participate, but LOVED watching), miniature golf, comedy shows, swimming pools, hot tubs, all you can eat food and soft-serve ice cream, the ship's medical center*, elaborate productions with life music and dancing (I was in heaven), complimentary movies, horseback riding on the beach in Cabo (breath-taking), and most of all just being able to relax and be with each other!

We have a whole bunch of pictures and a few short videos of our adventures on board and off, but David is going to make them into a video/slideshow of the whole trip so keep watching for that!

Okay, okay...I won't make you wait for everything...here's a small sneak peek. :)

Keep checking back for the video/slideshow!
