Whoops!

I typed this all up but for some reason it didn't post...here's the medical center post story...

So it was about 11pm Wednesday night. We had just finished watching one of the productions with live music and dancers, and David started having pretty intense stomach pain. We decided he had probably just eaten something bad and he should just try to get some rest and hope that it go away. Boy were we wrong. Well...wrong about the going away part. He was up the whole night with pain so bad he couldn't even stand up straight or lay down in any position without it hurting. I, being the perfect wife that I am (sarcasm), slept through it all. Horrible right? I woke up at about 7am to him doubled over moaning and groaning in pain. He hadn't been able to throw up at all (so it couldn't have been something he ate) and said he wasn't nauseated, just in pain. Since he's experienced an intestinal infection before (on his mission), and it didn't go away with rest, I decided we needed to go to the on-board medical center. We walked down there, just to find out they didn't open until 8am (it was 7:13am LAME). So we went back to our room, David drank some water and tried to lay down for 45 minutes and we were right back at the Medical Center door at 8am. Of course, right when we got there David said the pain wasn't as bad as it had been all night, but he was still having random shooting pains so we went ahead and had a Dr visit. The Dr spoke to us about his medical history, took a urine sample, listened to Davids insides with the stethoscope, pushed (really hard) on David's stomach, and everything came back normal. His diagnosis was "eating such rich food over and over has made your body react because it's not used to it". He prescribed some super strong stomach pain medication and an acid reflux tablet. So...a foreign Dr AND nurse (really hard to understand), $124 and some pain meds later we are back and David is feeling much better. :)

I meant to get a picture of the Medical Center, but I was a little flustered and totally spaced it. :( I'm just glad my man is healthy and back to his old self.
