Our festivities started on Wednesday, with some pumpkin carving! We let Maelie play with some pumpkin guts, which she didn't love, but also didn't hate! Her first Jack-O-Lantern was a simple one that took
Yes, I did take her trick-or-treating. Our church had a Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday night, so all of us paramedic wives took our babies over to the church and got some candy! Now that was a sight to see-- 5 adults and 5 car seats all smashed into two five-seater cars. We were full to the brim!
After the Trunk-or-Treat we loaded back up and went to the Mall-O-Ween (...at the mall...get it?). This was kind of a bust because we got there toward the end and most stores were out of candy, but that's okay...it's not like our kids were going to eat the candy anyway (the oldest one with us is not even 2 yet)!
I didn't get a picture of all three of the babies in the back seat, but this gives you an idea of how full we were! And these two cuties both fell asleep on the way to the mall :) |

That night we went to a fun little place on Historic Route 66 called POPS. It's a cute diner/soda shop/gas station that has hundreds of flavors of soda! It's only like 15 minutes away from us, so it was a fun little adventure! Happy November!
I think this month my Things I Love Tuesdays are going to be a little bit different! Stay tuned!
The expression on Maelie's face in the upper-left hand corner of the last picture collage, killed me.
