As Of Late

With the holidays and preparations to move back to Rexburg, it's been very busy around here! This last Thursday was my last day ever* at Intermountain Orthopaedic and David will wave goodbye to A-Gem Supply tomorrow afternoon. :) We feel so blessed to have had these jobs while living here in Boise, but we are so excited to go back to Rexburg! Although we aren't very excited for homework.

Anyway, here is what we've been up to since Thanksgiving....

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!!!

Movie Jackpot!

And David even got a new snowboard and bindings...he's ready for some snow!

After a long, hard search for an apartment, we finally got to celebrate getting a place to live in Rexburg!!!

Aren't those glasses so cute?!

And then...the experience of a life time....we got to babysit these three kids for a whole week! :)
After our week long stint as parents (of teenagers AH!) we were happy to return to our little place with just the two of us.

We were asked to make two Hashbrown quiche's for the Shamrock Ward Christmas breakfast. David was in charge of cubing the ham.
It was my first time making quiche and they turned out delicious! I don't have pictures of the final product, but my stomach approved. :)

David got something he's been wanting/needing for a LONG time...
a tie hanger! He's a happy man. :)
I found a hole in my purse while I was a little bit bored at work one day and these were the treasures I came out with....three chapsticks, and about 35 bobby pins. **not pictured: Brooke's rings.

Our first Christmas together!!!! Sadly, we didn't take very many pictures. Actually...we didn't take any...I had to steal this from Pyper. Next year we'll do better. :)

After Christmas, the real fun began not.

I began the organizing, sorting, de-cluttering phase of our packing. I did this alone, because it's only my stuff that needs it....and David was at work all day. :)

Closet: Before

Closet: After

Dresser: Before

Dresser: After.
Now David actually has some space in the dresser!

This is what I did today....sorted through boxes and boxes of my stuff that has been accumulated over the 7 years I lived at my parents house.
I am proud to say I've narrowed
five full boxes down to just one! I think I still have two or three more in the garage, but we're making progress people! I know mom is happy! :)
The ONE box....yes sisters, that is my Yum Yum.

And every night when David gets home from work, he starts working again! Since living in Boise, he's painted the WHOLE condo.... single-handedly....and guess what......

HE FINISHED TONIGHT!!!! Best. Day. Ever.

And there you have it! We are happy. We are healthy. And we're in love. :)

*The story about Intermountain Orthopaedic....I've worked there three different times. This was most likely my final time...I'm sad about it. The end.
