This semester is off to a good start! We feel very busy, but SO blessed with the things we have and the things we get to do. Last semester I was approached by one of my teachers who was in need of a TA for the upcoming spring semester. I gladly accepted the offer and was overly happy that I wouldn't have to work at the beloved (sarcasm) call center as much as previous semesters! So for the first time ever, I've taken on two jobs (26ish hours a week) and 16 credits in school. I was being extra dramatic on Monday and told David I don't even have time to eat anymore! :) I can gladly say that with one full week of school and work under my belt, I think I'll be able to do it. It is going to be super hard and I won't have time for much, but it'll totally be worth it.
David has also taken on 16 credits, including a math class AND a chemistry class (which is the most failed/dropped class on campus). He's working just under 20 hours a week at the testing center and working hard at being the 2nd counselor in the Elder's Quorum. He is already studying all night and then waking up early to get more studying in. I know that he's so so smart and super determined to do well so that he can apply for an awesome PA program at the end of this semester!
With all that said, we're very busy and very happy! We're excited for what is to come!
